Monk: Forgive you? This is me, turning off your morphine. (Long pause) And this is Trudy, the woman you killed, turning it back on.

Sharona: I'm proud you. You're becoming a real New Yorker.
Monk: I rode on the subway.
Homeless Man: Change?
Monk: Yes, I think I have.

Monk: (to desk clerk) Hello, I'm Adrian... Monk. Party of four.
Stottlemeyer: Not much of a party, really.

Sharona: Adrian, that man killed four people. That man took a whizz in the subway. Which one do you think we should arrest?
Monk: (thinks about it a long time) The murderer...

Warrick Tennyson: You were the husband?
Monk: I am the husband.
