Monk: Okay, Just for the record, what we just did...
Benji: Breaking and entering.
Monk: Yeah, it's wrong, 'k? Don't... don't do it.

Benjy: (To Monk) Mom coulda got that shot. Do you think she's letting him win?
Monk: I wouldn't be surprised.
Benjy: You know, why do girls do that?
Monk: Some day you'll understand. When you do, call me and explain it to me.

Disher (on the phone): Where are you staying, Monk? The Bates Motel?
Monk: No, but I have a feeling this place is run by the same company.

Monk: Do you like him?
Sharona: Um hmm. Why? Is there a reason why I shouldn't? Adrian, if you know something about him, you have to tell me.
Monk: I thought the rule was I keep it to myself.
Sharona: It's a new rule.

Sharona: What happened to the bathing suit I bought you?
Monk: I'm wearing it... underneath.

Monk: I tried doing that once, making every minute count. It gave me a headache.
Sharona: What doesn't?

Sharona: What did you find?
Monk: Zilch. It was the cleanest room I've ever seen.
Sharona: Really?
Monk: I'd stay there.

Benjy (admiring one of Monk's dollar bills): Wow. How do you keep it looking like new?
Monk: Hand wash, no bleach, tumble dry, medium heat, cool iron.

Monk: This is the cleanest crime scene in the history of crime!

Monk: Mr. Fenimore, I'm sixty-five to seventy percent sure that you murdered your wife.

Monk: You made a friend?
Sharona: Yeah. You should try it some time.

Monk: I'm solving a murder here.
Sharona: Well, do it three feet to the left.
